The history of La Manga Club spans over four decades and during this time we have seen the Club grow in both size and reputation. 1970s - The Mar Menor's potential as a golf course and a high-level tourist attraction is realised. 'La Manga Golf Course' is completed becoming the home of The Spanish Open during the decade. The Tennis Centre is home to its first resident pro.
