La Manga Club is in the Spanish Region of Murcia on the Costa Calida and is located within the splendid Calblanque National Park.
Close by La Manga del Mar Menor (La Manga Strip), from which the resort gets its name, is the narrow strip of land that separates the Mediterranean from the Mar Menor (Europe's largest saltwater lagoon), which is over 22 kilometres long and stretches from the fishing village of Cabo de Palos to the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The resort is near the typically Spanish village of Los Belones and the closest resort on the Mediterranean side of the Club is Cabo de Palos. Other nearby resorts and beaches along the inland coast of the Mar Menor include Mar de Cristal, Los Urrutias and Los Alcazares.
Further north along the Mar Menor, some 20 minutes away are the resorts of Santiago de la Ribera and San Pedro Del Pinatar. The nearest city to La Manga Club is Cartagena which is only 25 Kms (16 miles) away with easy road access.
